What is the most important “ingredient” for a creative mind?

Answer: Boredom.

Hours spent looking out a car window while public radio is playing on the radio will do wonders for a child’s imagination – watching DVDs on that same trip won’t.

Constant entertainment / demanding activities schedule can stifle curiosity in a young genius, I think.

There has to be space to create in, and often that space is called “boredom”.

    I’d say EXPOSURE.
A child brought up exposed to all kinds of things builds general knowledge and a creative thinking attitude. Start by getting it interested in normal subjects as “science” or history or art and music, with the intention of teaching the child to appreciate, to think, observe and deduce.
    Exposure and observation!
